Hey Cheerleaders, Mike Vick Meant No Harm

Mike Vick had his share of rushing highlights as usual in the Eagles win over the Redskins on Sunday. One of the more humorous moments came after Vick scrambled with ease for a 31-yard gain before seemingly kicking a ball sitting on the sideline in the direction of the Redskins cheerleaders. Whether it was the near-destruction of the defenseless cheerleaders or the presence of their pink pompoms and cute outfits, Vick's heart appeared to flutter, and he made an apologetic gesture of sorts in their direction.

After Vick finished his usual postgame press conference, he came back to the microphone to apologize to the Redskins cheerleaders.

"It was very inappropriate to kick the ball," Vick said after the game. "I'm sorry about that. I apologize to the cheerleaders. That was a very bad gesture. I can't let my emotions get the best of me. Sorry to the Redskins cheerleaders, I didn't mean to offend anybody."
