Phillies Mural Plan Unveiled

Share

The Phillies, in collaboration with the Mural Arts Program, unveiled the design for their new Phillies Mural which will find its home at 200 South 24th Street. Featured prominently in the center are legendary sluggers Mike Schmidt and Ryan Howard.

Other current Phillies making an appearance include Chase Utley at second base, Jimmy Rollins running the base paths, and Roy Halladay likely throwing a perfect game. Brad Lidge's World Series celebration appears next to the heartbreak of Mitch Williams. Both Vet Stadium and Shibe Park are honored as well.

According to the Phillies, the 8-story mural "will face the Schuylkill River and I-76 Schuylkill Expressway."
